?I am starting to feel like The Fit Yummy Mummy I desire to
be. Within the first week I could feel that I was

?After the birth of my second child, I was not happy,
because the weight wasn?t coming off like it did after the
first pregnancy. I was emotionally and mentally on edge. I
even debated going on antidepressants!

?I have always been into fitness; as a kid I played sports,

Goodbye Thighs! She Lost 1.5 Inches Off Her

?After having three kids, I didn't feel like I had the
shape and tone that I wanted. I'd read a lot about eating
"clean" and resistance training. I was ready to see if that
was the way to reduce my body fat percentage. For months I
floated around, halfway eating the way I knew I should. I was
doing resistance training three days a week and hours of
cardio a week. The day I began my new program, I weighed 132
with 19.1% body fat. I told myself that if it went down

?Tedious cardio workouts were what kept me from committing
to a sincere exercise regime. Like all the other times I
began working out, I started with a "will-conquer-this"
attitude, which lasted through the first month when the scale
didn't budge and my cardio became excruciatingly
boring.
Then I learned that my long cardio workouts
were fruitless. I changed my routine (through the
implementation of the FYM program) so that I completed
resistance training first, doing three supersets of two
exercises and the inches started coming off!
Through
this exercise and nutrition guidelines, I have made changes
that I know will be lifelong habits. I eat several small
meals throughout the day and have made an effort to have a

of teaching. Caleb is 6 and Caitlin is 3. Caleb is
very conscientious of what he eats and will ask me if
something has too much sugar in it. Sometimes he
will even tell me that he wants to eat "something healthy."
It makes me so proud.
Caitlin is more of a challenge
simply because she isn't old enough to understand it all but
is learning that her snacks are being replaced with more

When Weight Watchers Didn?t Work, Fit Yummy
Mummy Showed Her How to Keep the Weight Off
?Being overweight I have tried many, many things to loose
weight. The strategies that I have tried to loose weight have
included Nutri-System, Weight Watchers and just plain
starvation. I tried all of these and more hoping that I could
loose weight and have the body and energy I wanted. My
weight loss journey has been many years in the making 10 years
at least. After trying all of these things I found that none
of theses things worked for me. I never felt good, I lost some
weight, but never felt good or had energy to take care of my
son or enjoy activities. I always felt hungry, never full or
